Beware of fraudulent emails imitating LuxTrust and 3D Secure

There is a series of fraudulent emails sent out falsely claiming to be from LuxTrust.
In the email, receivers are invited to click on what seems to be a 3D Secure link. It then redirects them to a fake 3D Secure website, on which they are asked to enter their credit card data and then validate with your LuxTrust device, twice.

Our teams acted quickly, some fraudulent websites are already down. We are monitoring the ongoing phishing to take down the remaining fraudulent websites.

If you have unfortunately clicked on this link and provided your credit card details and LuxTrust credentials, please contact LuxTrust customer service at +352 24 550 550 and your bank in order to take the necessary measures.
If you have received such an email, please do not open it or click on the link. Simply delete it.

We remind you that LuxTrust will never send you a link via email or SMS asking you to update your personal data. In order to stay protected please follow some simple recommendations:

• Do not open messages whose sender you do not know
• Do not click on links and do not answer to the emails
• Never communicate your personal data
• If you have the slightest doubts or suspicions, please contact LuxTrust or your bank directly.
