The LuxTrust Scan is an electronic device with a LCD display and an integrated camera. The camera function allows the scanning of a dynamically generated "mosaic" that contains the data required for the generation of a One-Time Password (OTP). This device decodes the data of the operation and displays it for final validation (« What You See is What You Sign » (WYSIWYS).

To connect yourself to an application, please enter your LuxTrust User ID, your LuxTrust Password and then scan the "mosaic" displayed in the application. The device then generates the OTP which has to be entered online for final validation of the operation in the OTP window reserved to this action (e.g. your e-Banking). LuxTrust only authorises the connexion if this three information are correct.
