How do I activate my Smartcard/Signing Stick?

After receiving all components, i.e. codes and Smartcard or the Siging Stick, SIM and codes, you must activate your LuxTrust certificate.

Here are the different steps to follow for the first activation of your certificate:

- Install Middleware
Download the last version of the Middleware, which corresponds to your operating system. You will find all versions in the section SUPPORT > DOWNLOADS > Middleware.

- Change initial PIN
After installing the middleware you need to connect your Smartcard. A window appears asking you to change the initial PIN (Current PIN), which is on the letter with LuxTrust codes.

- Activation
The last step is to visit our website to make the first activation of your certificate. You can find this function under the section MyLuxTrust > Activation.
