How to install/update the LuxTrust Middleware?

To use your Smartcard, Signing Stick or eID Card:

1. Download the latest Middleware according your operating system from http://drivers.luxtrust.lu.
   
   
2. Install the LuxTrust Middleware before connecting your device to your computer and restart your computer at the end of the installation.
   
   
3. Connect your Smartcard reader (Smartcard / eID card) to your computer. If you do not already have a recommended card reader, check the list of supported drives under http://readers.luxtrust.lu. For a Signing Stick, go to step 4.
   
   
4.  Insert your Smartcard / eID card into the drive connected to your computer or insert your Signing Stick into the USB port of your computer.

For a first installation of Middleware on your computer, do not forget to:

• Change your original PIN code to find under the tab overleaf of the document containing your personal codes.
• Then activate your certificate under http://activate.luxtrust.lu
