What is a PRO certificate?

This certificate is issued to a natural person as an employee or agent of a company.

The certificate holds information about the cardholder but also details of the company which he is commissioned to. Any operation, authentication or signature made with the certificate is made in the name of the employee or agent of the company. These certificates are only for the use in a professional context, like online banking account management with Multiline or for online VAT declarations (eTVA), etc.

Information: The company must agree that his employee obtains such a certificate PRO. During the ordering process a company can identify and name a person as "Professional Administrator" for managing the company's PRO certificates. This person can then, for example, block any certificate issued on behalf of the company without the prior consent of the owner.

Certificate owners can use their PRO certificates for private use if their employers and the applications allow it.
