What is a suspension?
You can suspend your certificate if you have lost or misplaced your LuxTrust device. The new status of your certificate is then "suspended". You can reactivate your certificate within 30 days after the suspension.
If you have passed this delay your certificate becomes automatically revoked and unusable. You then have to order a new certificate.
To suspend your certificate, proceed as follows:
- Online suspension

Contact our customer service desk (+352 24 550 550) (available 24/7) and respond to the identification questions. - Suspension at a LuxTrust registration authority
Report in person to a registration authority of your choice. Addresses of registration authorities can be found on our website: http://ra.luxtrust.lu. After ascertaining that your request is legitimate the registration authority will verify your identity. For that purpose you must provide an official identification document (identity card, passport or Luxembourg residence permit).
